Per Egil Ahlsen (born March 4, 1958 in Fredrikstad ) is a former Norwegian soccer player who played for Fortuna Düsseldorf , among others .

Career

Per Egil Ahlsen began his professional career at his hometown club Fredrikstad FK , where he worked from 1976 to 1986, for a total of ten years. In 1984 he decided the final of the Norwegian Football Cup with a free kick from 30 meters and thus won the title. In 1987 he switched to league competitor Brann Bergen . In 1990 he was loaned to the former Bundesliga club Fortuna Düsseldorf for a year . There he only played eleven games. After that he played another year for Brann Bergen, where he was now a cult figure. In 1993 he moved back to his hometown club Fredrikstad FK, where he ended his active career a year later.

National team

Ahlsen made his international debut in 1983. He was also on the Norwegian Olympic team at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles . In total, he played 54 international matches and scored three goals.
