The Perce Point is a low and icy headland on the south coast of the Beethoven Peninsula of West Antarctic Alexander Island . It is located 19 km west-southwest of Berlioz Point , with which it marks the entrance to Couperin Bay .
The pilots Ashley Clinton Snow Jr. (1906–1975) and Earle Baker Perce (1910–1968) discovered them together with the photographer Arthur James Carroll (1907–1992) during a flight over Stonington Island on December 22, 1940 as part of the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939-1941). The headland, originally named Cape Perce, is named after Earle Perce.
