The Couperin Bay is a bay on the south coast of the Beethoven Peninsula on the West Antarctic Alexander Island . It is located between Perce Point and Berlioz Point .
The British geographer Derek Searle from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped the bay in 1960 using aerial photographs taken during the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1977 after the French composer François Couperin (1688-1733).
