Perestroika (computer game)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Perestroika (also known as Toppler is) a computer-busting of Locis in 1990 for DOS - PCs .

Game flow

The player has to steer a frog via lily pad on a body of water to reach a point on the upper right screen. On the way you can collect different colored balls (blue, light blue, red) and get bonus points. If you collect yellow balls, you get minus points. Movement is made more difficult by the fact that the leaves gradually sink into the water. For this purpose, new water lily leaves are created in other places. In addition, the frog is hunted by enemies. If the frog falls into the water through a wrong movement or staying too long on a sinking leaf or if it touches an opponent, it dies. In higher levels the speed of the game increases, the water lily leaves get smaller and smaller and the number of opponents increases. There are 25 levels in total.
