Perlini Equipment or Perlini Dumpers is an Italian manufacturer of heavy trucks and dump trucks . The company, based in San Bonifacio , has been part of the Cangialeoni Group since 2018 .
Company history
Perlini began in 1957 as a company that converted standard truck models into special vehicles for the Italian industry . In 1961 Perlini began producing its own tipper models , which soon became the core business of the manufacturing company. In the 1970s, Perlini began exporting large numbers of dump trucks to the People's Republic of China , establishing a very important trade relationship that continues to this day. Aside from the truck business, the company was active in motorsport and was able to take first place in the Dakar Rally (trucks) from 1990 to 1993 with the Perlini 105F "Red Tiger" model . In 2010, at the bauma construction machinery trade fair , Perlini announced a partnership with Volvo Construction Equipment for sales in the European market. In 2016 the company became insolvent and in 2018 it was taken over by the Cangialeoni Group . The tipper division continues to this day. Since the company was founded, a total of more than 12,000 vehicles have been produced and exported.
