Life

Ekkehard Hahn, who came from a musical family, originally wanted to become a doctor, but decided in 1956 to study singing, timpani, drums and acting at the Liszt School of Music in Weimar , which he successfully completed in 1963. During his studies he already worked as a reporter and speaker at the Weimar broadcaster . Then he received the call of general manager of the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin, Martin Hellberg , who was only able to persuade him to work for a year at the Schwerin Theater with a lot of arguments and an apartment of his own. The agreed one year turned into over 45 years until he retired in 1999. During this time he has played roles in all sorts of genres .

On television he became known as Paris in “The Sacrifice Helena”, as the lawyer Menk in the “Warsaw Concert” and as the mood cannon for “ Klock 8, aft Strom ”; he was a charming chat in the chanson show "Many songs the wind knows" and quiz master for "Unknown until today". In addition to acting, Ekkehard Hahn has become known through readings and diverse activities in film and radio .
