After 31 regional league and 18 second division appearances without scoring, he left Darmstadt and went to Bayern league club TSV Gerbrunn for the 2002/03 season . This was followed by positions at lower-class clubs such as the ATS Kulmbach and the second team from Darmstadt 98.
