Perpetuum Jazzile is a non-traditional Slovenian choir , which emerges with its own choreographies and stage shows, as otherwise only in a cappella formations.

History of the choir

The vocal ensemble Perpetuum Jazzile was originally founded in 1983 by Marko Tiran as the Gaudeamus Chamber Choir in Slovenia . The choir interprets songs of all in modern a cappella arrangements.

The choir organizes regular concerts in Slovenia and on concert tours abroad (including Argentina, Brazil, the United States, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Canada and China). Every autumn, the group Vokal Xtravaganzza organizes concerts in the Čankarjev Cathedral in Ljubljana (until 2017) and in the Dvorana Stožice, also in Ljubljana (2018). Often guests also appear there, u. a. Alenka Godec, 6Pack Čukur, Alya, Oto Pestner, Jan Plestenjak, Nuša Derenda and Vocalica (Italy), The Real Group (Sweden), Mansound (Ukraine), BR6 (Brazil), The Real Six Pack (Germany).

In 2010 he performed at the Africa Music Award in London; In 2012 the choir was a guest on the TV show Do you understand fun? as well as on ZDF with Carmen Nebel .
