Petar Djulgerov

Petar Georgiev Djulgerow ( Bulgarian Петър Георгиев Дюлгеров ; born July 3, 1929 in Beliza , † July 20, 2003 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian politician.

Life

In 1944 Djulgerow joined the Bulgarian Workers' Youth Association . From 1949 he was also a member of the Bulgarian Communist Party . In 1954 he joined the University of Sofia a degree in Law from. From 1960 to 1962 Djulgerow was secretary of the Central Committee of the Dimitrov Communist Youth Association. In 1971 he became a candidate and in 1976 he became a member of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party. In 1976 and 1977 he was editor-in-chief of the Rabotnitschesko Delo newspaper . From 1977 to 1981 he was then secretary of the party's central committee. In 1981 he became a candidate for the Politburo of the Party's Central Committee and also chairman of the Central Council of Bulgarian Trade Unions.

He was awarded the Georgi Dimitrov order .
