Peter-Christian Witt

Peter-Christian Witt (born May 16, 1943 in Stolp ) is a historian and professor emeritus .

Life

Peter-Christian Witt was professor for modern economic and social history at the University of Kassel ; he has published numerous articles on German history in the 19th and 20th centuries. His research interests are the history of public finances , the history of the workforce, the family and the bureaucracy as well as biographical studies and the history of inflation in Germany.
