Peter Bence

Peter Bence , also Bence Peter (born September 5, 1991 ) is a Hungarian pianist , composer and sound designer . Between January 2012 and March 2017, according to the Guinness Book of Records, he was considered the "fastest pianist in the world" with 765 hits per minute.

Life

He started playing the piano at an early age and completed his first own composition at the age of 7. In 2004 he released his debut album Green Music . In the same year he won 3rd prize at the Ferenczy György pianist competition. In 2008 his second album Nightfall was released .

His piece Piano Piece Based on Fibonacci Sequence , which he played during the entrance exam for the Berklee College of Music in 2009 , caught the attention of many pianists. In 2010, Bence was admitted to the Berklee College of Music. He completed his studies with a Master of Arts in Film Scoring and Electronic Production & Design.

In 2012, Peter Bence was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as “the fastest pianist in the world” after playing the piano with 765 strokes in one minute. His style of playing includes rhythmic accents on parts of the piano other than the keys.
