Peter Bogel

Peter Bogel (born April 27, 1959 ) is a former German basketball player .

Life

With the HSG TU Magdeburg, Bogel won the GDR championship title in 1988 and so replaced the series winner BSG AdW Berlin with his team. In 1989 he was again a master with Magdeburg. Bogel was appointed to the GDR selection and took part in international matches.

As a functionary, Bogel was vice-president and manager of the BBC Magdeburg , who during his tenure played partly in the 2. Bundesliga ProA before the club had to file for bankruptcy. He was once a founding member of the association.

Bogel, who works as a press spokesman for the drinking water supply Magdeburg GmbH (TWM), took part in German championships as a player in the old man's area.
