Peter Bonsack

Peter Bonsack (born October 5, 1948 in Basel ) is a Swiss politician ( EDU ) and councilor in the canton of Bern .

Professional career

Peter Bonsack was head of the funeral service from 1986 and head of the city gardening department of Biel from 2000 . In addition, he was President of the Interest Group for Cemetery and Funeral Services in Switzerland.

Political career

Peter Bonsack was Vice President of EDU in the Canton of Bern for 14 years, Vice President of EDU Switzerland for 10 years and President of EDU in the city of Biel / Bienne for 5 years . Since 2008 he has been President of the EDU in the canton of Bern. He is also President of the EDU Biel-Bienne / Seeland.

From June 1, 2011 to May 31, 2014, Bonsack was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern.

Since January 1, 2013 he has been a councilor for the municipality of Kallnach with the school and education department.

Private

Peter Bonsack lives in Kallnach in the canton of Bern. He is married and has eight grown children.

Since 1982 he has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Mission House Alpenblick Hemberg. He is also a member of Gideons International .
