Peter Branka

Peter Branka (* 1972 in Vienna ) is an Austrian composer .

Live and act

Peter Branka studied composition, piano and conducting at the Vienna Conservatory . He led various musical workshops and composed various commissioned works. Among other things, he was the musical director and composer of the children's musical “Der Weihnachtsapfel” in Vienna and the musical “Rainbow Girl” (first performed in 1992 in St. Pölten, Austria).

His compositions are characterized by modern tonal music with both film music influences and elements from pop music and jazz. Many of his symphonic orchestral works have the character of program music.
