Peter Conrady

Peter Conrady (born May 5, 1944 in Bad Oeynhausen ) is a German literary scholar , literature and language didactician.

Life

Conrady completed a teaching degree at the University of Education in Westphalia-Lippe and at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . He then worked at the University of Education in Westphalia-Lippe, initially as a research assistant and later as a lecturer. In 1975 he received his doctorate in educational sciences with a thesis "Students dealing with texts". In 1979 he completed his habilitation in the field of "Didactics of German Language and Literature" with a thesis on "Literature Lessons in the 1st School Year". From 1981 to 2009 Conrady was a full professor for German language and literature and its didactics with a focus on primary level at the Technical University of Dortmund .

In 2005 Conrady received the Award of Change from the artist Lucia Dellefant .
