Peter Dyneley

Peter Dyneley (born April 13, 1921 in Hastings , † August 19, 1977 in London ) was a British actor and voice actor . In his homeland and the USA he was best known for his voice, which he gave to the main character "Jeff Tracy" in the television series and the films about Thunderbirds .

Life

Dyneley spent his youth in Canada, where he also served in the Navy during World War II . After the end of the war he studied acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London . He mainly played stage productions; on Broadway for the first time in October 1952 in "The Millionairess", often alongside his wife Jane Hylton , but he was also seen in supporting roles in films and television series, where his language skills - in addition to English, he was fluent in French, German and Spanish. He was a guest star in many popular series of the 1960s and 1970s, from the Kraft Mystery Theater to The Saint to Ghost Squad , from Ivanhoe to The Sweeney .

Dyneley died of cancer at a relatively young age.
