Peter Egelhaaf

Peter Egelhaaf (born 1938 ) is a German physicist.

Egelhaaf received his doctorate in 1968 at the University of Tübingen (investigations into the directional radiation value of a gas discharge radiation generator). He was an industrial physicist and head of research at Robert Bosch GmbH .

In 2010 he became an honorary member of the German Physical Society (DPG) for his many years of voluntary work as an industrial physicist and on the board of the DPG and as a member (and from 1994 board member) of the advisory committee of the industry of the DPG (BAI, now AIW).

From 1998 to 2002 he was the editor of the Physik Journal , the house journal of the DPG.
