Peter Erath

Peter Erath (* 1952 in Stuttgart ) is a German social scientist . He teaches theories of social work at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt .

Life

Peter Erath studied general and special education. After training as a special school teacher, he worked for several years in special schools and early intervention. In 1987 the doctorate to Dr. ped. Since 1988 he has been Professor of Education and Social Work at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Catholic University of Eichstätt, since 2003 lecturer in Social Work Theories at the University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, and since 2009 he has been a visiting professor at the University of Ostrava (CZ) . He is a member of the scientific advisory board of the Faculty of Social Studies.
