Peter Göransson (born May 20, 1969 ) is a former Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Göransson, who started for Åsarna IK , ran his first of a total of 14 individual World Cup races in Falun in March 1994 , which he finished classically in 62nd place over 30 km. In the 1994/95 season he came in the points in all three World Cup appearances and achieved his best overall result with 60th place in the overall World Cup. In March 1997 he achieved his best individual placement in the World Cup with 12th place in the sprint in Sunne . The following year he won the Wasalauf . He completed his last World Cup races in March 2001 in Falun, which he finished in 73rd place over 15 km classic and 14th place with the relay. In February 2002 he was third in the Tartu Maraton .

In the Swedish Championships Göransson won in 1992 and 1997 with the season of Åsarna IK.
