Peter Graetz

Peter Graetz (born September 25, 1944 in Neukirch / Lausitz ) is a German writer and theater scholar .

Life

Graetz was born in Neukirch / Lausitz in 1944 . After several years of practical experience as a concrete technician, material dispatcher and set pusher, he studied theater and art studies at the Humboldt University from 1967 to 1972 , then worked as a dramaturge at various theaters and now lives as a freelance writer in Berlin. After his first major prose work ( In the Middle of My Shadow , Story, 1975) Graetz devoted himself mainly to radio and television drama. His works include: The Stepdaughter , children's radio play, 1977; What Remains of Us , Feature , 1983; The Christmas Plumbers , TV movie, 1986 (awarded the Golden Screen in the same year ); That our zeal is praised , Feature, 1987.
