The Peter Greven GmbH & Co. KG is an international manufacturer of oleochemical products, the production sites in Germany , the Netherlands , Malaysia and the United States supplies from customers in over 85 countries. The company has its headquarters in Bad Münstereifel . Peter Greven is active in the oleochemicals and occupational safety divisions . The company produces metal soaps , alkali soaps, esters , dispersions as well as fatty acids and glycerine . The group manufactures products for occupational skin protection through its subsidiary Peter Greven Physioderm GmbH.

history

In 1923 Peter Greven founded a soap and glycerine factory in Bad Münstereifel to produce core and household soaps, soda and washing powder. Acquisitions were made from 2000 under the direction of Peter Greven, the founder's grandson. International expansion began in 2000 with the founding of the company subsidiary Peter Greven Nederland CV in Venlo . In 2005 the metal soap business of the French company Ceca was taken over and the sales office Peter Greven France was founded

In 2006 the skin protection business was outsourced to the company's subsidiary Peter Greven Physioderm GmbH. In 2007 Peter Greven expanded to Asia via a joint venture with IOI Oleochemicals and founded Peter Greven Asia Sdn. Bhd. in Penang , Malaysia . North America followed in 2011 when Peter Greven US was founded. In 2017 Peter Greven expanded his US business by acquiring the assets of Norac Inc. and forming Norac Additives LLC.
