Peter Hütter

Peter Hütter (born August 2, 1980 in Gmunden ) is a former Austrian basketball player .

career

Hütter spent his entire Bundesliga career with Swans Gmunden and was captain for years. He won the Austrian championship with the team in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010, as well as the cup competition in 2003, 2004, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012. In the 2005/06 season, the 1.95-meter-tall winger was named the best player in the Bundesliga finals. In 2007/08 he reached the sixteenth finals of the ULEB Cup with Gmunden , but retired there against the eventual title winner Joventut de Badalona with the later NBA players Ricky Rubio and Rudy Fernandez .

With the national team , Hütter took part in several European B championships.

In 2013 he ended his competitive basketball career.
