Peter Heinig

Peter Heinig (born November 19, 1924 in Neustettin ; † June 19, 1994 ) was a German artist.

Heinig was a professor at the University of Cologne (1987–1990) and the University of Bonn (1972–1986).

Most recently he lived with his family in Laboe on the Kiel Fjord. He died as a result of an accident while sailing on the Schlei.

He was a member of the artist group Bonn and the Association of Visual Artists (BBK) in Bonn and Kiel.
