Peter Hofbauer (born July 14, 1998 in Hainburg an der Donau ) is an Austrian basketball player .

career

From 2012 Hofbauer worked in the junior division of the Vienna DC Timberwolves club , in the 2014/15 season he made his first short appearances in the Vienna men's team in the 2nd Bundesliga and became champion of the second division with the “Wolves”.

In the 2017/18 season he shone with a success rate in the three-point throw of 46.9 percent and averaged 9.5 points, he won the championship title with the team in the 2nd Bundesliga and was promoted to the Bundesliga.

National team

Hofbauer took part in the U16 and U18 B European Championships. At the B-EM 2016 he was the second best basket hunter of the Austrian team with 11.6 points per game.
