Peter Kemper (born June 28, 1950 ) is a German publicist and radio editor in the Hessischer Rundfunk (hr).

Life

Peter Kemper studied philosophy, German and social science in Marburg . From 1986 to 2003 he was head of the evening studio at hr, then he took over the editing of the hour-long talk show hr2-Doppelkopf . From 1998 to 2013 he was also the editor in charge of the Funkkolleg, alternating with colleagues .

In addition to his duties as word editor for hr2 , Kemper was also involved in the preparations for the German Jazz Festival until October 2015 and writes reviews for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung . At the German Record Critics' Prize , he is one of the jazz judges for contemporary and modern jazz.
