Peter Koenig (born June 30, 1947 in London , United Kingdom ) is a British money expert. He examined the relationship between attitudes towards money and the vitality of people and organizations. His findings flowed into a system he developed with which people and organizations can change their relationship to money . He calls the system the peterkoenig system .

Life

Peter Koenig grew up in England . There he obtained a diploma as a real estate trustee. In 1973 Koenig moved to Zurich, where he worked as a facilities manager. In 1980 he earned an MBA and continued his education in coaching. Koenig founded a subsidiary of a US company in Switzerland that advises upper and middle management on vision, quality and communication processes. Since 1986 he has been working as an independent consultant for companies and social organizations. He researched the interactions between the handling of money, monetary system developments and the vitality of people and organizations. He also founded the international conference series “Money & Business Partnership”.

Koenig has been offering seminars on the relationship with money since 1994 and trains an international “community of practitioners” in its system. In 2003 his book "30 brazen lies about money" was published by Oesch Verlag. Since 2009 he has been researching and developing another, related field that he calls "source". This describes and defines the natural principles that every initiator and founder of a company or project uses to materialize his initiative. It is used for the strategy development of companies. In 2018 he created a new currency for the global commons, "IntrinsiCoin", which is to be launched in 2019.

Peterkoenig system

With the system created by Peter Koenig, Koenig wants to help change people's attitudes towards money in a contemporary way. At the center of the system is the knowledge that money only exists in the imagination and is therefore neither necessary for life nor existential. He puts intrinsic motivation before the pursuit of money. With his method Koenig wants to support people to find their "source", to a certain extent their purpose in life. Implementing the source - according to Peter Koenig - does not depend on money, but on the conscious memory of the natural "source principles" that every person instinctively carries within themselves. Peter Koenig's work is regularly received in specialist magazines and newspapers.
