Peter "Piiit" Krisp (pseudonym: Ulrich Larsen-Adam) is a German illustrator and author from Lüneburg . Until 1995 he was the exclusive draftsman for the famous Lurchi magazine of the shoe manufacturer Salamander . The total circulation of his works is over 40 million copies.

Peter Krisp's cartoons were broadcast in almost every country in the world; in Germany, his comics, cartoons and children's books are better known. Lurchi's adventures, the little green booklets from the Salamander shoe stores, which are now reissued as anthologies by Esslinger Verlag in the classic edition, have played the largest part in this. They have thus received the accolade and are now considered to be a "German cultural asset". As the exclusive draftsman for the entire Lurchi area of ​​Salamander AG, Krisp was able to bring the figure to a new bloom with its advertising environment. In 1995 he finished his work for Salamander.

Tabaluga , Papa Moll as well as Benni and Teddy are among the other license heroes supervised by Krisp. Many characters, including entire series of comics and cartoons, were developed by himself. In almost all cases from the concept to the finished product. For example, he created the Pixi book series Jan + Leo (under the pseudonym "Ulrich Larsen-Adam") for Carlsen Verlag .

Since 2009 Krisp has been working primarily as a writer and illustrator for science and technology. In particular, his versatile illustrations for MindMatters, a scientifically based program to promote mental health in secondary and primary schools, are increasingly being used nationwide.
