Peter Leissl
Peter Leissl (* 1958 ) is a German sports journalist.
He studied geography and German literature. In 1983 he came to ZDF . He is an expert in endurance sports and comments on ZDF cycling ( Tour de France and Giro d'Italia ), Nordic skiing and athletics (World Championships and Olympic Games ). He was also head of the ZDF sports report and the ZDF editorial team SPORT extra.
Leissl is married and has no children. He lives in Schlangenbad near Wiesbaden .
