Peter Liehr worked as a freelance writer mainly in the comic area. His publications include publications in Germany , Spain , France and the USA . Together with the German comic artist Peter Schaaff , he wrote the story Green for the US American Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Magazine # 3. Later both worked on an educational comic program for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia . Liehr also worked on two projects with the Belgian comic artist Philippe DeSutter.

In addition to his comic work, he also wrote articles for various magazines, such as the Tintin magazine. He wrote the script for Conspiracy for Red Step film production . After various discrepancies regarding the realization, he left the production and is not listed in the credits at his own request. This was followed by an Italo-Western project. Due to his passion for trading card games like Yu-Gi-Oh! or World of Warcraft , Liehr came to translate trading cards and role-playing books.

Liehr died unexpectedly on December 20, 2016 in Cologne after suffering a heart attack.
