Peter Schaaff (born June 8, 1962 in Düsseldorf ) is a German comic artist .

Peter Schaaff lives and works as a cartoonist and comic artist in Düsseldorf. In addition to publications in various German fanzines and the design and editing of the Tote Helden Comix until the mid-1990s, he worked for a long time as a freelance illustrator and screen designer . Today he dedicates himself (almost) exclusively to the world of narrative pictures. In addition to articles for the German Mad magazine , he designed various short stories for the anthology Horrorschocker published by Weissblech Comics . His ongoing fantasy series Demonika - Bride of Evil also appears there . Together with copywriter Peter Liehr , he realized the story “Green” for the US American Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles # 3 (Mirage Studios).

His best-known work is the comic series Andi for the Office for the Protection of the Constitution of the Interior Ministry of North Rhine-Westphalia , which is also well received in other federal states and is reprinted there. Andi is conceived as a 'comic for democracy and against extremism' and deals with the problem of right-wing extremist , left-wing extremist and Islamist agitation in schools.
