Peter Maxwell, 27th Baron de Ros
Peter Trevor Maxwell, 27th Baron de Ros , (born December 23, 1958 ) is a British peer and politician .
Life
He is the son of Commander John David Maxwell, DL (* 1929) and Georgiana Maxwell, 26th Baroness de Ros (1933–1983). He was educated at Headfort School in Kells , Ireland and Down High School in Downpatrick , Northern Ireland.
When his mother died in 1983, he inherited her title of nobility , including the associated seat in the House of Lords . Through the reforms of the House of Lords Act 1999 , he lost his hereditary seat in parliament.
On September 5, 1987, he married Angela Sián Ross. He has three children with her:
- Finbar James Maxwell (* 1988)
- Katharine Georgiana Maxwell (* 1990)
- Jessye Maeve Maxwell (* 1992)
