Peter Rückert

Peter Andreas Rückert (* 1963 ) is a German historian .

After receiving his doctorate in 1989 at the University of Würzburg , he was a consultant for the old Württemberg holdings in the Stuttgart State Archives and a lecturer in medieval history and historical auxiliary sciences at the University of Tübingen . His main research areas are regional history (especially settlement history), historical auxiliary sciences (especially archival studies, documents and records, palaeography, historical geography).
