Peter Starzmann (born July 27, 1962 in Deizisau ) is a former German soccer player , today's soccer coach and financial advisor .

He began his career at TSV Deizisau, before moving to SSV Reutlingen and VfL Kirchheim / Teck in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg via the regional division TSV Wendlingen . For the 1989/90 season he joined the Stuttgarter Kickers and played there 26 second division games, scoring two goals. After one season he returned to VfL Kirchheim and soon after had to end his career after a lung tear and broken rib.

After his active career, he worked as a coach at SSV Reutlingen , SV Bonlanden and the A-Jugend as well as the amateurs of VfB Stuttgart . At the side of Ralf Rangnick, he also looked after the professionals at VfB Stuttgart for around 3 years as an assistant coach.

He has been working as an asset advisor in Reutlingen since 2006 .
