Peter Taaffe
Peter Taaffe (* 1942 in Birkenhead , England ) is a British politician.
Life
Taaffe is general secretary of the Socialist Party (formerly the Militant tendency of the Labor Party ) and a member of the International Secretariat of the Committee for a Workers' International (CWI) .
He is the author of various books, including about the French Revolution in 1789, the Marxist- led Liverpool City Council from 1983 to 1987, Cuba and the Vietnam War . "Castro's Cuba - a Marxist Critique" and "Marxism Today - Answers to War, Capitalism and Environmental Destruction" (2008, English: Marxism in Today's World ) were published in German.
