Peter Thomsen (* 1947 in Berlin ) is a German actor and entertainer .

In 1967 he attended the “Hans Otto” theater school in Leipzig and graduated in 1971 with an acting diploma. He then took part in various theater productions, for example in Nathan der Weise directed by Ulf Reither and as Monsignore Aventuro in An insane fragrance of fresh hay directed by Wolfgang Fleischmann .

Television discovered him in 1979. He played in the film Straßen und Jahre , directed by Peter Wekwerth . After Susanna and the poor devil (1983), the television program Man (n) ometer (since 1986) on German television followed. Peter Thomsen played various inventors and thus imparted knowledge from the natural sciences. Since 1987 he has also appeared in the program Pfiff .
