Life

Brückner grew up in Grünhain . He completed his photography studies in Bielefeld in 2011 with “Working with Caramel”. job

Brückner's works show fragile and ephemeral sculptures. He mostly uses caramel , which liquefies under the influence of humidity and thus changes the shape of the sculptures. Other materials, such as silicone or polyurethane , with which Brückner works, represent similar changes in shape or surface, but here they follow the flexibility and aging processes of the respective materials.

Exhibitions

  • In February 2014 the Kunstraum Liska showed works made of caramel and silicone in an exhibition entitled Meine Tat, die Konsoletme.
  • From February to March 2014 Brückner was on view with his exhibition It rains four hundred drops in the D21 in Leipzig. Works from 2013 and 2014 in caramel, silicone and polyurethane were exhibited.
