Peter wishes
Peter Wünsche (* 1954 in Bamberg ) is a German Roman Catholic priest, theologian and professor of liturgical science .
Life
From 1974 to 1976 he studied human medicine in Erlangen and from 1976 to 1981 Catholic theology in Bamberg and Munich . After graduating from the University of Bamberg with a degree in Catholic Theology in 1981 and ordained a priest in 1982, he was chaplain from 1982 to 1989 . From 1989 to 1992 he was cathedral vicar in Bamberg. From 1992 to 1996 he was a research assistant at the chair for liturgical science in the now suspended Faculty of Catholic Theology at the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg. After receiving his doctorate in 1996 as a Dr. theol. from 1996 to 2001 he was a research assistant at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg . After his habilitation in 1999 at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, he taught from 2001 to 2010 as professor for liturgical science at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg. Ludwig Schick appointed him cathedral capitular at the Metropolitan Church of Bamberg in 2010 . From 2010 to 2012 he headed the main department of extracurricular education / liturgy of the Archdiocese of Bamberg . Since 2012 he has been head of the pastoral care department of the Archdiocese of Bamberg and is also a pastor in the parish of St. Maria Magdalena Geisfeld .
