Peter Welsh (athlete)
Robert Peter Welsh (born July 16, 1943 in Dunedin ) is a former New Zealand obstacle runner .
In 1966 he won over 3000 m obstacle at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston with his personal best of 8: 29.44 min. At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, he was eliminated in the preliminary run.
In 1964, 1966 and 1968 he was New Zealand champion, in 1968 also Australian champion.
