Belgrade XI

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Belgrade XI football team was a selection of Belgrade football players who participated in two tournaments of the Fair Cup.

The best soccer team in a trade fair city should take part. However, since the rules only allowed one team from each city, it was decided from the clubs Red Star -, Partizan -, Radnički - and OFK Belgrade to create a team just for this tournament.

When they first participated in 1958-60 , the selection made it to the semi-finals. But it was the end of the line against CF Barcelona .
