Peter de Rosa

Peter de Rosa (* 1932 ) is a British author and former Roman Catholic priest and Jesuit . De Rosa studied at the Gregorian University in Rome .

De Rosa taught metaphysics and ethics at Westminster Seminary in London and was Dean of Roman Catholic Theology at Corpus Christi College , London . In 1970 he and around 100 other British Catholic priests signed an open letter against the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae . In the same year De Rosa renounced the priesthood. As an author, de Rosa wrote several books.

De Rosa is married with two sons and lives in Ireland .
