Pyotr Vasilyevich Ignatenko
Pyotr Wassiljewitsch Ignatenko ( Russian : Пётр Васильевич Игнатенко ; born September 27, 1987 in Omsk ; often Petr Ignatenko ) is a Russian cyclist .
Pyotr Ignatenko was second overall in the Russian stage race Way to Pekin in 2008 . In 2009 he drove for the Katusha Continental Team , for which he was tenth at the Grand Prix of Donetsk . He moved to the Itera-Katusha team in 2010 . In his first year there he was tenth at the Memorial Oleg Dyachenko and he won a stage and the overall classification at the Giro della Valle d'Aosta .
Ignatenko joined RusVelo for the 2015 season . In the course of a training control carried out on April 8, 2015, Ignatenko tested positive for growth hormone ( HGH ) and was released from the team with immediate effect.
