Petra Kehl

Petra Kehl (* 1965 ) is a German historian of medieval history with a focus on the veneration of saints . Kehl's monograph (based on her doctoral thesis) Cult and Afterlife of St. Boniface (1993) is one of only two monographs on the veneration of St. Boniface . The other was written by Lutz E. von Padberg . Among other things, Kehl's study has been reviewed as "written with meticulous care" and described as "a standard work of research for the years to come". Kehl lives in Fulda , where she runs a publishing house for historical fiction, religious literature and children's books.
