Petra Mahlau
Petra Mahlau (* before 1970) is a German psychotherapist. As a child actress, she was the first corpse in the television series Tatort in November 1970 .
Mahlau is the daughter of the cameraman Nils-Peter Mahlau . She attended the primary school in Tannenhofstrasse in Hamburg-Langenhorn . During the production of the first crime scene episode Taxi to Leipzig , her father was responsible for the camera, her brother Boris was hired for the short speaking role of Christian Billsing . When looking for an actor for his half-brother Bertram , who was seriously ill with leukemia and was brought across the inner-German border by his father and suffocated with a pillow at a motorway rest stop near Leipzig , the choice fell on Petra Mahlau. In order to look like her brother, she wore a blonde wig and thick mascara in the short three-second sequence. Director Peter Schulze-Rohr told them not to blink. Mahlau received no fee for her role, but did receive one day off from school.
Today she works as a psychotherapist in a counseling center in Norderstedt .
