Petronor (short name of Petróleos del Norte, S. A. ) is a Spanish petrochemical company based in Muskiz (province of Bizkaia in the Basque Country ). The company was founded in 1968.

The company's refinery in Muskiz is the largest in Spain , processing 11 million tons of hydrocarbons a year . In 2007 Petronor achieved a turnover of 5.6 billion euros and a company profit of 295 million euros.

Petronor also has a network of petrol stations in northern Spain.

85.98% of the company's capital belongs to the petrochemical company Repsol YPF , the rest is held by the Sparkasse of the Province of Biscay Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa . The company's president has been Emiliano López Atxurra since June 2015.
