features

The Buxy and Zenith were launched in 1994. There was the normal version with studded tires and the "RS" version with normal road tires. The Buxy has an upright 1-cylinder 2-stroke engine with air cooling and separate lubrication. An upside-down fork from Showa was installed on the front suspension, as is also used in motocross . The Buxy also has a 190 mm disc brake from the Italian manufacturer Grimeca . The manual fuel tap with reserve position is unusual for modern scooters. Instead of a helmet compartment, the Buxy has a storage compartment behind a flap in the front. A robust luggage rack was built in from the factory. The seat height of 840 mm was particularly high at the time, which underlines the look of the scooter's terrain. There are still the parallel models Peugeot Speedake and Zenith, which have been slightly modified. Production was due to the new emission regulations of the EU set 2,001th
