Lists on the subject

The Peurawot , also Sikin Peurawot or Sikin Rawot , is a knife from Sumatra .

description

The Peurawot has a slightly curved, single-edged blade. The blade is about the same width from the handle to the location . The blade has neither a central ridge nor a hollow grind and the back of the blade is slightly convex . The cutting edge is slightly concave , S-shaped and slightly bulbous in the local area. The place is pointy. The handle is made of wood or horn and has no guard . A metal clamp is often attached between the handle and the blade , which is used to better secure the handle and location. The handle is round and curved towards the back of the blade. The pommel is made of metal and is flat at the end. The scabbards are usually made of wood. They are narrow and follow the shape of the blade. They are often wrapped with rattan cords or decorated with carvings . The mouth of the vagina is widened and worked overhanging towards the cutting edge. There are different versions.
