The Pfadi Region Basel is the cantonal association of scouts in the Basel region, whose members come from Basel, the Dorneck , Leimental and Fricktal . It belongs to the Swiss Scout Movement and was founded on May 20, 1987. A good 4,000 children, adolescents and young adults are involved in the scouting region of Basel in the five age groups of the Swiss Scouting Movement.

In the Pfadi Region Basel, due to its size, the departments are grouped into five districts. The districts take on tasks such as direct support for the department heads, the offering of leadership courses, the exchange of information between the cantonal association and departments, and the organization of animation and chat events. In addition to organizing various large-scale events, the cantonal association of scouts primarily ensures the training and further education of the leaders as well as communication with the national association.
