The rectory belongs to the Roman Catholic parish of St. Martin in the Gersthofen district of Batzenhofen . The rectory is protected as an architectural monument.

The rectory is located southwest of the St. Martin church . It was built in 1705 as a two-storey gable roof with gable cornices by the St. Stephan monastery in Augsburg, making it one of the oldest in the Augsburg district . In 1890 a repair took place, in 1952 a restoration, whereby a third of the costs were provided by members of the parish and work. Another renovation took place in 2012.
