Rectory (Engen)
The rectory in Engen , a town in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg , was built in 1533. The rectory at Hauptstrasse 2 is a protected monument .
history
The three-storey building with a stepped gable was built by the Bishop of Constance Johann von Lupfen as a "castle on the street". After the fire in Krenking Castle, it served as the residence of the city lord from 1640 . It has been used as a rectory since 1811.
