The parish church Böhlerwerk is in the village of Böhlerwerk in the market town of Sonntagberg in the district of Amstetten in Lower Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church, which is subject to the patronage of the Holy Family , belongs to the dean's office in Waidhofen an der Ybbs in the diocese of St. Pölten . The church is a listed building ( list entry ).

history

The previous church, known as the steel church, was built in 1912. The new building was built in 1972 according to the plans of the architect Rainer Bergmann with the builder Richard Wawrowetz.

architecture

The cubic group of concrete buildings with a western bell tower has a centralized square hall with a concrete coffered ceiling.

Furnishing

The figure groups Holy Family, the tabernacle, the crossways reliefs were created from sheet steel by the sculptor Josef Schagerl .
